Established for over 30 years, we have the largest screen-stretching machine in the country with the capability to stretch a frame 9 meters x 3 metres. At the other end of the scale we have a very flexible hand-stretching machine which will stretch screens as small as 250 x 250mm.
We offer a nationwide stretching service for both the textile and graphics sectors, as well as the supply of new frames in aluminium or our special “D” section steel, designed especially for screen manufacture and giving greater strength to weight ratio than any other product, All steel frames are electrostatic powder coated with a chemical resistant epoxy polyester to withstand the rigors of the modern print industry.
Colour Separation Studio
Our colour separation studio has state of the art facilities, which fully utilise the most up-to-date technology. The studio incorporates the latest C.A.D / C.A.M software and hardware systems for design manipulation and colour separation as well as a traditional hand separation capability. This ensures that our customers are assured of the highest quality films and screens both rotary and flat. The films are produced on an infra- red laser plotter giving high definition film with output quality up-to 100 dpm.
The flat and rotary screens we now produce by-pass the film production route going straight from the computer direct to the screen, using the latest developments in screen engraving technology.
Our flat Waxjet engraving machines are capable of producing the highest quality screens with the greatest accuracy and a maximum engraving area of 2500 x 2000 mm.
The rotary Waxjet has the capability of engraving screens up to 3500 mm with a wide variety of repeats from 537mm 640/688/801/and 914mm.
We also have traditional flat and rotary engraving equipment, which enables us to offer the most comprehensive screen supplies service to both the textile and graphic printer.
Ancillary Products
Our wide range of ancillary screen supplies products includes screen inks (both water and solvent based), adhesives for specialized decorative products, glitters, foils, flock, beads and screen emulsions from one of Europe’s leading manufacturers, together with screen meshes sold by the roll or by the metre.
