RA Smart (CAD & Machinery) are pleased to announce our new partnership with Epson UK and the launch of the SureColor SC-F6000 & SureColor SC-F7000 Dye Sublimation Printers.

The SureColor SC-F6000 offers dye sublimation professionals a print capability of up to 44″ wide whilst the industrial SureColor SC-F7000 supplied as standard with Ergosoft dye sublimation edition RIP and robust media feed system can print up to 64″ wide . Both machines utilize Epson’s new Ultrachrome DS ink set supplied in cost effective 1lt sacs for the easy to use integrated ink delivery system. With high quality print speeds of between 16-60 sq/mt hour these systems will be ideal for a range of applications from soft signage through to sportswear and rigid material dye sublimation applications. MIMAKI TX500 BELT MACHINE NOW AVAILABLE

Magnus Mighall is pleased to announce that the new Mimaki TX500 belt system is now available exclusively through RA Smart ( CAD & Machinery). The TX500 features Mimaki’s new print head technology as well as a host of other features including on-line degassing of inks to allow use of Mimaki’s new range of bulk inks for reactive, acid and disperse printing. The industrial belt system allows any textile media to be printed without any distortion to the print enabling the printer to be used for a range of applications from lightweight silks through to stretch lycra or heavy weight display fabrics through to home furnishing cottons and velvets. R A Smart are pleased to announce some new heat press models from Transmatic. Following a recent visit to Transmatic’s factory in Milan, Italy Magnus Mighall from RA Smart (CAD & Machinery) is pleased to confirm a new range of rotary machines designed specifically for sportswear and cut panel applications based on the entry level 7360 and 7372 machines. These systems have all the functionality of the larger drum 6530 and 6560 machines but at an extremely attractive price point. There is also the new 7340 option with the 35 cm diameter oil filled drum. At the time of the factory visit we were able to run some tests on a 100cm diameter drum machine designed for industrial productivity as well as see some carousel heat presses under manufacture for bespoke applications. Mimaki TS500 available from January 2013

RA Smart are pleased to announce the new Mimaki TS500 dye sublimation printer will be available as from January 2013. RISING BMX STAR GETS SUPPORT FROM LOCAL BUSINESS

RA Smart are pleased to announce the launch of a new range of radiant fixation units for use both in-line with digital printers or off-line for the fixation of direct to textile disperse dyes and textile pigment inks. This new cost effective range of machines will appeal to our flag and banner customers and ‘soft signage’ customers who only require a system for fixation of direct disperse dyes and do not have a requirement for rotary heat press for sublimation processes. The same unit will also appeal to our growing number of customers utilizing textile pigment inks. The current system is available at 180cm wide. Alternative models will be available soon. NEW MIMAKI TX500 DIRECT TO TEXTILE PRINTER

Mimaki has added a new volume textile inkjet production to its range with the introduction of the Mimaki TX500-1800DS, capable of printing at 150 square meters per hour on pretreated polyester fabrics. This printer, together with Mimaki’s new Sb300 sublimation ink, delivers enhanced capabilities and productivity to the textile apparel and soft signage markets by eliminating the need to print to transfer papers. The Mimaki TX500-1800DS printer is expected to be available in Summer 2012.

The Mimaki TX500-1800DS features a number of new capabilities that textile apparel and soft signage manufacturers will find attractive, including:

Fast direct-to-textile printing at 150m²/h in high-speed mode. The TX500-1800DS uses newly developed printheads that achieve a maximum speed in four-colour mode that is 150% faster than conventional models. The printer includes six printheads, in a staggered configuration.
Built-in heater accelerates drying time of printed fabric. This prevents ink set-off in the production process, improving overall quality and productivity while eliminating rework caused by excessive ink set-off.
Mist absorption filter. The mist absorption filter prevents problems caused by ink mists and enhances the stability of print operations by suctioning the mist inside the printer and discharging it.
Mimaki Degassing Module. The Mimaki degassing module (MDM-20) eliminates the gasses or bubbles that can occur in inks during the printing process, decreasing the likelihood of nozzle blockage and improving the accuracy of ink dot placement. In addition, this module enables the printer to use undegassed bottled inks instead of conventional degassed ink packs, thus reducing ink costs.
New dye sublimation ink. Mimaki has developed a new ink, optimised for dye sublimation printing and for use with the TS500-1800SB and the TX500-1800DS. Sb300 ink offers an affordable price, dries quickly and produces brilliant colours. Two ink configurations can be selected at the time of printer installation: the 6-colour mode for smooth gradation and better pale colours, or the 4-colour mode for higher productivity.
Auto Media Feeder (AMF). Mimaki’s unique Auto Media Feeder provides stable feed take-up of polyester fabrics, eliminating much of the need for operator intervention during printing.

New Mimaki Flagship Dye Sublimation Printer

RA Smart are pleased to annouce the launch of Mimaki’s new TS500-1800 dye sublimation machine which will be capable of printing up to a blistering 150 sq/mt hour (300×600 dpi) and up to 180cm. The new Ts500 will offer new and existing dye sublimation customers the possibility of producing longer print runs without any loss of print quality thanks to the groundbreaking features on the printer including a mist removal filter, de-gassing module, automatic media feed system, increased media capacity and new SB300 inks.
