offer a Digital Textile Printing service, both for short run &
production.
The
latest generation of digital textile printer, The Monna Lisa, has
recently been installed and is the first volume digital textile
printer in the UK. The Monna Lisa offers quality print at up to
50 metres per hour, significantly increasing production opportunities.
Our
digital textile printing department also utilises 1 Mimaki TX-3,
4 Mimaki TX-2 and 2 Mimaki TX-1600 digital textile printing machines.
There are no
limitations on colour, scale or detail, with special attention being
paid to colourmatching exactly to customers’ requirements.
Using the Newton software system we are able to colourmatch from
monitor to printed fabric.
The fabrics
offered cover a wide range, from the sheerest of silks to heavy
cottons and velvets, and includes chiffon, habotai, georgette, poplin,
canvas, cotton lawn, fine wool, lycra and other stretch fabrics.
To ensure the
correct chemistry is used on each fabric the printers are set up
on all available dyestuffs-acids, reactives and disperse.
Silks, wool
and nylon are printed with acids.
Cotton and celluosic fabrics are printed with reactives.
Polyester is either printed directly with disperse or by the sublimation
route.
